The aim of this course is to produce knowledgeable human resources and skills for the financial sector of the economy. It is intended to open up job  opportunities in the business and financial management world. Upon completion of the diploma, students will be able to embark on a wide scope of career opportunities or may choose to further their studies to pursue the ACCA qualification or a degree in Accountancy.

All graduates of Diploma of Accountancy from AIC are eligible for exemptions of the ACCA Knowledge Level (F1, F2 & F3).

Career Pathway DAC 2017Graduated students will have an advantage of taking up a top-up degree with the foreign affiliated universities of AIC to study the final year of a degree. Alternatively, the students may choose other universities but the point of entry may vary depending on credits exemptions. Students may also choose to study in local public or private higher education institutions and the highest possible entry point is the second year of the degree.

Yearly Intake: May, September and December


      1. SPM (Pass SPM with 3 credits in any subject and COMPULSORY CREDIT in Mathematics and PASS in English Subjects);
      2. O-Level (3 credits in any subject); or
    • ACCA Qualification
      1. Diploma of Accountancy from AIC (eligible for exemptions of F1, F2 & F3)
      2. STPM (2 Principal passes PLUS 3 Credits including English and Mathematics)
      3. UES (5 subjects with grade B including English and Mathematics)
      4. 3 LCCI Higher Passes
      5. Bachelor or Master Qualifications

Length: 2 years and 6 months comprising of 8 semesters
